Microneedling is minimally invasive and does not require downtime. However, you may experience redness and skin sensitivity for a few days post-treatment. We recommend that you avoid sun exposure immediately after the treatment.

Microneedling is a temporary procedure, so we recommend a maintenance program of quarterly sessions to keep your skin looking its best. Most patients notice visible results in 1-3 days after their first treatment.

How many sessions will you require?
Once we evaluate the severity of your skin issues, we will explain the number of treatment sessions required. When you suffer from mild to moderate acne scarring, you may require 3 to 4 sessions. However, if you have stretch marks, deeper scars and skin sagging, you may require 6 to 8 treatment sessions for correction. Your treatments must be scheduled 10 to 14 days apart and you can get maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months.

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. Your blood contains red cells, white cells, and platelets. The platelets contain hundreds of proteins called growth factors which are very important for healing injury, especially to the surface layers of the skin.
For a PRP treatment, your blood is spun down in a centrifuge to separate the platelet rich plasma from the blood cells. The plasma is then applied to your skin during a microneedling treatment. Basically, your blood, hyper-concentrated with these growth factors, is injected back into the body. Includes radio frequency, a hydrojelly mask and specialized serums.
